Company
Our client is a Swedish agtech startup founded in 2017, rethinking the way food is produced and consumed. They are building a powerful software platform to grow super tasty and nutritious leafy greens.
Description
The technology stack is entirely built on container technology, so the choice of programming language is pretty open. Currently, they use mainly Python and Javascript, as well as Rust. The backend part of the software is about building the company's data processing backend and service APIs. The software collects data from a range of sensors in all their farms. This data is processed and transformed to deliver services through API endpoints, used by the application's management service and integration partners.
The role can also evolve to include ML engineering, PLC programming, and team management and even further into taking responsibility for managing the overall software development, thus becoming a Software Lead.
