Description
Rebtel is looking for an Android Developer who will integrate Kotlin into the existing code bases and will soon begin to move the entire application to Kotlin.
Tasks:

- Working on taking the app to the next level
- Be keen interest in architecture: how to build complex applications that are maintainable
- Making overviews of architectural decisions, being able to discuss technical solutions with the rest of the team and acting as an inspiration to keep the code base clean
- Problem-solving and finding the simplest possible solution to complex problems
- Focused on quality of code, writing unit tests
- Working well with teams, even in areas besides Android development, capable of performing as a sole developer in your area
Must-have:
- Sound knowledge of Kotlin and a reasonable level of Java
- 3+ years full-time professional experience
- Experience with Development lifecycle tools and processes (Git/Jira, Kotin Coroutines, Compose, Azure devops)
- Knowledgeable about modern mobile technologies and architecture (Kotlin, MVVM, Retrofit, Jetpack, Koin)
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice-to-have:
- Interest in new technologies (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile)
- Experience working with large teams on mature products with many users
- Experience building new products with an eye on maintainability and scalability
- A degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience working with audio, video, telecommunications and/or messaging protocols (SIP, WebRTC)
- Experience with payment platforms, FinTech or Banking
