Right now the company is looking for a senior concept artist to join the team and define, own and drive the artistic vision for the company.

Tasks:
  • Produce fantastic and inspiring concept designs for all facets of game creation
  • Create beautiful characters, assets, and environments to be rolled out into games
  • Create amazing illustrations for marketing and publishing purposes
  • Visually explore ideas and artistic styles for future game titles
  • Define and prioritize the game art pipeline in collaboration with product and engineering
  • Lead the execution of the game art pipeline and directly contribute to it
  • Recruit and mentor the art team required to drive forward the company vision
  • Set the best practices and culture needed for developing world-leading game art
  • Research, innovate and identify the opportunities of the nascent NFT art economy
Must-have:
  • Strong art leadership track record in the gaming industry
  • 5+ years of experience as art director, senior concept artist, or lead artist
  • Excellent artistic and technical skill sets in concept art, illustration, and UI design
  • Ability to work with a broad range of aesthetic styles
  • Able to create accessible mobile or PC mid-core style in 2D that can be translated to 3D
  • Proficient in next-gen 2D and 3D creative applications
  • Technical expertise with the main graphics engines on the market
  • Fluid written and spoken communication in English
  • Ability to work and lead a team remotely in the dynamic environment of a tech startup
  • Commitment to work during hours that substantially overlap with the CET timezone
  • Flexibility to travel within Europe for in-person meetings and workshops
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience creating art for mobile mid-core games
  • Knowledge in character creation and anatomy
  • Skills in animation and special effects
  • Understanding of platform and mobile engine constraints
