IT Security Operations Engineer

Tasks:
  • Ensure that IT security system hygiene is maintained in accordance with current standards
  • Reaction to IT security incidents in the role of Security Officer of the Week according to the shift schedule
  • Patching and hardening of Linux and Windows under the instruction of engineers
  • Regular reviews of security exceptions on firewalls, proxy, AD, application whitelisting, IAM, TPAM, and DLP in collaboration with the CISO
  • Checking systems to ensure that all specifications such as backup, monitoring, end-point protection, application, and system patches are up-to-date and functional, in collaboration with the engineers and the CISO
  • Support from the CISO in training and testing ISMS processes and regulations
Must-have:
  • Computer science training and several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Experience with security requirements in the IT sector
  • Advanced German
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • High independence, resilience, and flexibility
