Our client is a GameDev startup based in Zürich, Switzerland. The startup is in stealth mode founded by film director from the Universal Pictures, Hollywood and game dev veterans. They are building an exciting narrative mobile game that pushes the boundaries of what has been done.
Tasks:
  • Report to the Head of Game Development and work closely with the management team (CEO, Tech Lead) as well as with Engineers, Artists, and Designers
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams
  • Manage backlog and sprints and ensure smooth delivery of features and best-in-class development practices
  • Establish a creative collaborative environment with Engineers, Artists, and Designers
  • Decide on product priorities, gather feedback early through various prototyping forms, and act on user feedback and data
  • Plan, manage, and deliver regular releases throughout a game's life cycle
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plans
  • Monitor progress, make adjustments as needed, and measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Identify and manage risks
Must-have skills:
  • Experience in working with and passion for free-to-play mobile games, and extensive knowledge of the mobile game production process.
  • 4+ years of experience as a video or mobile game producer or product manager, having shipped at least one title through the full production cycle
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Excellent non-violent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Experience across multiple free-to-play game genres ranging from casual to mid-core
