Remote Senior Vue Developer

Affluent is a technology company that is modernizing the affiliate marketing industry by delivering powerful, highly needed tools. They offer tools for affiliate marketing agencies, advertisers, and publishers.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will join their features & experience team where you will have broad ownership over major portions of their frontend. You will work with a team of engineers to architect, build, test, and deploy new features. The team has just started a complete rebuild of the frontend from scratch in Vue.
 
Besides the frontend rebuild, you will be responsible for work on many strategic projects including architecture projects, custom reporting solutions, CRM functionality, third party integrations, UI implementations, large-scale refactoring of legacy code, and much more.
 
This role is a key role in a growing team (expanding from 3 people to 12 people this year) where you will have broad ownership over major portions of the platform. This is a great opportunity to leave a mark on a product, hone your skills, and grow in a team.

Tasks:
  • Architect, design, implement, test and perform code review for various features and components of the Affluent UI
  • Assist in rebuilding our frontend from scratch in Vue
  • Work closely with product managers and other developers and QA to deliver effective solutions
  • Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers
  • Optimize code and streamline processes to improve performance and platform stability and reduce overall system load
  • Review error messages and fix bugs in a timely manner
  • Work in a distributed and agile environment
Must-have:
  • 6+ years of professional development experience
  • 4+ years experience with JavaScript
  • 2+ years experience with Vue.js
  • A sense for aesthetics and design

  • The candidate is presented a home assignment. Two options:
    1. Live coding with Head of engineering - 1,5 hours 
    2. Take-home coding challenge (a coding challenge in Vue, estimated time to complete: 3-4 hours). A candidate will be asked to set up the deadline himself.
