Description
Tasks:
- Lead the Klevu DevOps team.
- Provisions, oversees, and maintains all deployed infrastructure
- Contributes to engineering design and planning on infrastructure operations topics
- Plans, executes, and reports DevOps activities
Must-have:
- 8+ years of experience. 4+ years in running large scale, diverse, distributed systems
- Good understanding of running bare metal servers, including firewall configuration, networking and security
- Cloud experience: AWS
- Understanding of monitoring and logging infrastructure, including alerting and response management
- Experience in automation of common tasks like CI/CD pipelines and deploying regular updates to software and operating systems.
- Experience in managing and leading a team
- Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, including bring up and maintenance of self managed clusters through command line tooling
- Ability to communicate effectively inside the DevOps team and with the development teams, including writing documentation
- Basic scripting skills
Nice-to-have:
- Excellent scripting skills on bash or other common scripting language
- Experience with centralised deployment tools like Ansible
- Ability to understand overall systems architecture and provide inputs from DevOps perspective
- Experience in reorganising and migrating servers to cloud infrastructure
