The company produces mass amounts of data on a daily basis. Combined with shopping data being directly delivered to their backend systems with access to shopping catalogues containing both the structured attributes and unstructured product descriptions, they have a wealth of data with immense opportunity to extract valuable insights and improve search accuracy.
Our client is now poised for solid growth and looking to strengthen its team globally and right now is looking for a customer-obsessed, global lead for one of the most critical functions, Technical support. You'll be responsible for providing world-class customer support while managing a team, based across all the time zones. 

Must-have skills:
  • Expert in Tech Support
  • Experience leading tech support teams
  • Experience with Ticket Management Systems (e.g. Fresh Success, Freshdesk)
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, Bigcommerce, Vue and Salesforce
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies such as HTML, JS, CSS3
  • Technical educational degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
  • Interest in finding the most suitable solution to any given problem
  • Ability to convey complex technical topics to a non-technical audience
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Should have worked as a developer at least once in a past
  • Hands-on with at least one programming language (C++, Java, PHP)
  • MBA or business management degree
  • Technical understanding of overall eComm platforms and how they work from technical architectural perspectives
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Experience of working with Solr, Elasticsearch or similar search technology
