System Architect

Hellotickets is building the largest global marketplace for travel experiences, from a Broadway musical show to a helicopter tour in Rio de Janeiro. Although they are a young startup, their platform is already presented in 15 countries — all with their local currencies and payment methods. The company is financially backed by key players in the entertainment and travel industry, like LCD SoundSystem’s James Murphy, Sony Music’s Managing Director and the Founder of TripAdvisor.
The largest global marketplace for travel experiences is looking for an experienced Systems Architect to join the Integration team and contribute to the overall success of the team:

Tasks:
  • Write high-quality integration code with third-party APIs and services, following the latest design and development patterns
  • Design and develop individual modules and functional parts to ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Research, design, scope, and estimate project requirements, ensuring the team meets agreed deadlines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve integration issues
  • Review code and accept pull requests from other developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Maintain and update technical documentation to ensure it reflects the current state of integration architecture and design
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies, trends, and tools, and apply them to improve our integration services
Must-have:
  • 5+ years of experience in the development
  • At least 3 years of experience in a system architect position or similar role
  • Experience in building architectures based on a large number of external integrations, and marketplaces
  • 3+ years of experience with Golang
  • Good English (B2+)
  • Fluent Russian
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience in the ticketing industry
  • Knowledge of gRPC
