Description
Tasks:
- contribute to the research, development, and prototyping of architectures and models for image processing
- work on high-quality training data set creation, and on data pre-processing with image processing and CV tools
- exploit these datasets to automatically annotate images and teach machines the context of what they are looking at
- use the trained models to enrich catalogues as well as knowledge graphs with the extracted aspects
- collaborate with the software engineering team on building an end-to-end image search solution
Must-have skills:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Maths
- Strong Python experience including numpy, scikit, matplotlib etc.
- 3+ years of Deep Learning solutions development
- Broad understanding of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning approaches and practices
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow)
- Solid experience with data sets creation, management and augmenting; understanding problems associated with training/tuning deep learning models
- Experience with model training using large datasets
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with model distillation and quantization
- Experience with CUDA
- Experience with image retrieval and object detection models
