Klevu creates an intelligent site search solution designed to help eCommerce businesses increase onsite sales and improve the customer online shopping experience. The company produces mass amounts of data on a daily basis. Combined with shopping data being directly delivered to their backend systems with access to shopping catalogues containing both the structured attributes and unstructured product descriptions, they have a wealth of data with immense opportunity to extract valuable insights and improve search accuracy.
Tasks: 
  • contribute to the research, development, and prototyping of architectures and models for image processing
  • work on high-quality training data set creation, and on data pre-processing with image processing and CV tools
  • exploit these datasets to automatically annotate images and teach machines the context of what they are looking at
  • use the trained models to enrich catalogues as well as knowledge graphs with the extracted aspects
  • collaborate with the software engineering team on building an end-to-end image search solution
Must-have skills:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Maths
  • Strong Python experience including numpy, scikit, matplotlib etc.
  • 3+ years of Deep Learning solutions development
  • Broad understanding of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning approaches and practices
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow) 
  • Solid experience with data sets creation, management and augmenting; understanding problems associated with training/tuning deep learning models
  • Experience with model training using large datasets
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Experience with model distillation and quantization
  • Experience with CUDA
  • Experience with image retrieval and object detection models
