Remote QA Engineer

Klevu creates an intelligent site search solution designed to help eCommerce businesses increase onsite sales and improve the customer online shopping experience. Combined with shopping data being directly delivered to their backend systems with access to shopping catalogues containing both the structured attributes and unstructured product descriptions, they have a wealth of data with immense opportunity to extract valuable insights and improve search accuracy.
With solid growth over 5 years, billions of API calls served on its belt, our client is now poised for solid growth and looking to strengthen its team globally and right now is looking for a passionate Test Engineer for their software product development. As a test engineer, you will be responsible for planning and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements of the product.

Must-have skills:
  • Good analytical skills & problem-solving approach
  • Must be able to identify test scenarios and test cases from requirements documents
  • Good expertise in writing and executing test cases
  • Strong knowledge of the Test methodologies, SDLC (i.e. Agile, Scrum), STLC, Bug Life Cycle
  • Working knowledge of Automation Tools (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, HP UFT)
  • Experience in any of the Test Automation frameworks
  • Working knowledge of any of the Issue Tracking / Project Management tools (e.g. Jira, Bugzilla)
  • Working knowledge of any of the Test Management Tools (e.g. TestRail, QMetry)
  • Working knowledge of any version control system (e.g. SVN, git)
  • Must be able to report bugs effectively
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
Nice-to-have skills:
  • ISTQB Certification
  • Agile Processes and DevOps experience along with continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Exposure to performance testing
  • Working knowledge of any programming/scripting language
  • Knowledge of Software Build Automation tools (e.g. Maven, Ant, Gradle)
