Tasks:
  • Consulting assignments: you'll provide expert consulting services for Java development, platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud engineering projects
    When not on consulting assignments you will be engaged in:
  • Internal Product Development: Contribute to the development of Stakater's internal products, ensuring high-quality code and innovative solutions.
  • Open Source Contributions: Engage in open-source projects, enhancing and maintaining Stakater’s open-source tools and frameworks https://github.com/stakater
  • Kubernetes Managed Services: Support and improve Stakater’s managed Kubernetes services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Must-have skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java web application development
  • Proficiency with Spring Framework and RESTful APIs
  • Experience in consulting and client-facing roles
  • Fluency in Swedish and English in both speech and writing
Nice-to-have skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular or React
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
  • Experience with middleware technologies like Kafka
  • Experience with automation technologies like Terraform, Ansible or Crossplane
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps
