Description
Tasks:
- Consulting assignments: you'll provide expert consulting services for Java development, platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud engineering projects
When not on consulting assignments you will be engaged in: - Internal Product Development: Contribute to the development of Stakater's internal products, ensuring high-quality code and innovative solutions.
- Open Source Contributions: Engage in open-source projects, enhancing and maintaining Stakater’s open-source tools and frameworks https://github.com/stakater
- Kubernetes Managed Services: Support and improve Stakater’s managed Kubernetes services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Must-have skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Java web application development
- Proficiency with Spring Framework and RESTful APIs
- Experience in consulting and client-facing roles
- Fluency in Swedish and English in both speech and writing
Nice-to-have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular or React
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Experience with middleware technologies like Kafka
- Experience with automation technologies like Terraform, Ansible or Crossplane
- Experience with CI/CD and GitOps
